NOTICE OF CEMETERY CLEAN-UP
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe village of New Athens will perform the 2024 spring clean-up of Oakridge Cemetery and the New Athens City Cemetery during the week of March 18th 2024. Anyone wishing to save any flowers or grave decorations should do so prier to the above date. Village personnel will be removing all Christmas decorations as well as any old or faded decorations of any kind. Residents are reminded that during the mowing season all decorations are limited to one per grave space. Any decoration beyond the limit will be removed immediately. Glass containers are also prohibited at any time.
