Outstanding Traffic Investigation

Police Officer Jake Renner conducted a recent traffic stop while on patrol, during the process Jake observed drug paraphernalia in plain view in the suspect vehicle.  Officer Renner searched the suspect vehicle and removed the drug paraphernalia and suspect methamphetamine (over 8 grams).  The suspect was released from custody as Officer Renner would apply for a felony warrant for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (controlled substance).

Officer Renner’s pro-active patrol method has resulted in removing potentially dangerous drugs from the village resulting in additional safety for the residents.  If you see Jake around town, tell him “Thank you”
