House Check -Vacation and Extended Absence
When you are away from your residence for an extended period of time, the New Athens Village Police Department will periodically check your home during your absence. This is a free service for the residents of the village.
Note: The Police Department will make every effort to check your residence while you are away. Please take all necessary precautions to safeguard your home and enlist the assistance of friends and neighbors to check on your property in your absence.
